My Preferences
Your personal identity and note defaults, shared across all modules on this device. Also provides tools to back up, restore, or reset all your saved preferences.
Identity
Section titled “Identity”Display Name — your name as it appears on notes you write. The same name is used in the Notepad, Quick Entry, and Review. A colored dot next to the field shows the color that will be associated with your name throughout the app.
Quick Notes Defaults
Section titled “Quick Notes Defaults”These defaults apply whenever you create a note — in the Notepad, Quick Entry, or Review.
Default List — the note list pre-selected when you open the note entry form. You can always change it per note.
Default Flag — the flag color pre-selected for new notes.
Both are stored on this device only and do not affect other users.
Backup & Restore
Section titled “Backup & Restore”Most preferences (filters, display settings, column visibility, etc.) live in each module’s preferences panel. This section is for backing up and restoring all of them at once — useful when switching devices or resetting the browser.
Export Preferences — downloads all saved page preferences and user settings as a .json file. The filename includes the current date and time.
Import Preferences — restores from a previously exported .json file. If the file was saved with a different app version, you’ll see a warning before importing.
Reset All Preferences — clears all saved preferences and user settings on this device. This cannot be undone.
